oooh great work! cant wait to see chrassus take him dow....i mean to see the evenly matched fight between the two of them.
Captain Cleaver approached the Shas\'O with some trepidation. He had personally seen him in battle and he knew that once inside his suit of armour, he was a terrible opponent. He paused, surveying the compound around him. His men were strategically dotted around the perimeter, and the heavy bolter teams were well placed to respond to any underhanded tactics.
\'What can I do for you? It strikes me as somewhat odd that you fight with us fiercely and parley with us the next. Forgive my lack of faith at the moment, but what the hell do you want?\'
Shas\'O Indra Furya Kauyon took stock of his situation. The Gue\' Vesa were prone to extremes of emotion, and he understood that once locked in battle with a foe it was nigh on impossible to stop firing at each other, never mind speak face to face. He decided that the emotions were not Cleavers fault.
\'We have noticed your recent battle with an alien species not of our galaxy. We have little knowledge of them, and the knwledge we do possess suggest that they are a formidable predator, one which we both struggle against.\'
Cleaver could feel where the conversation was headed, and wished the Tau would come to the point.
\'Please, can you come to what you are trying to say. We are both leaders in times of war, lets not mess about with pleasantries. What do you want?\'
Indra Furya responded, coolly as though Cleaver had never spoken. \'I suggest that for the time being we allow out tactical wits to come together, so that we may face this greater evil and stand some chance of success. I command the Tau upon Indra and I wish nothing more than for the Greater Good to prevail, and I see no alternative other than to seek your assistance, and in doing so recieve ours. We must put our fight, a petty squabble by comparison to the side and fight our common foe.\'
Cleaver nodded. He knew this was the question that was burning the Tau general. He also knew that the bastard Jerran had run away and left them no hope of rescue. Cleaver offered his hand. \'Shas\'O, I think we need each other to survive this. For now, we shall ally. But our petty squabble still has to be settled. Later, if the chance should come, I suggest we settle it.\'
The Tau general shook his hand in return. \'Agreed. We shall fight as allies, but when the time is more appropriate we shall settle our differences, if this conflict does not do it for us.\'

Brother Captain Thorn could feel the heat rising inside the drop pod. The sensors on his power armour were detecting turbulence and heat, and were buffering him against the worst of it. He looked around the pod and saw seven other brothers, ready to fight the alien menace. He had no idea what he was about to face.

Lieutenant Jerran felt the faint cold fear rising inside him again. He quivered as he began to strap himself dowm into the escape pod, and he flicked the switched to start the engine sequence. He had never plrayed to the machine gods before but he was doing so now, with all his soul. With a shudder the engines sprang into life.
\'YES!\' Jerran shouted, his paranoia clearing for but a second. \'Lets get off this damn rock! I have to make sure the Data is secure!\'
Jerran took the flight control and launched the craft skyward. As he read the monitors he saw something that made him start. There were Eldar Fighting Chaos Space Marines about a mile to the north! A wave of nausea hit him like a slap in the face... If there were Chaos Space Marines here then... there would be a fleet... He\'d never break orbit!! He diverted all additional power to the engines, and minimised his life support system. If he was to make it he\'d need the engines to drive faster than they\'d ever gone before...

The communications device implanted into Indra Furya\'s skull clicked into life.
\'Shas\'O! We have detected multiple alien organisms moving toward our position! What is your command?\'
The Shas\'O turned to Cleaver. \'It appears we have some of our common enemy headed this way. By way of proof of our commitment to this treaty, however temporary it may be, I will bring you back trophies of these aliens! Do not assist, we are in place to defend you here, at this point in time. Finish your fortifications captain, and I will return shortly!\'
Cleaver looked stunned, the Shas\'O had surprised him with his transmission, and how open he was to share it. He nodded in agreement and as the Tau mounted his battle suit, Cleaver began issuing the commands to hurry fortification. By the time he turned around to wish his new ally luck, he could only see the jet stream as he bounded the exterior wall.

The drop pod struck with thunderous force, and within seconds the automated locking system had righted the pod and released the Space Marines contained within its armoured shell. Thorn leapt from the pod and cocked his bolter ready for action. As he scanned the terrain he saw the other pods landing nearby.
Silently issuing the command through the standard encryption channels he and his men began forming the defensive position. By the time he looked to the north face of jungle it was too late. He turned and his bolter fired a hail of explosive death, catching the enemy in a joint of his power armour, shearing an arm from its owner. In a hurried defensive move, Thorn raised his bolter and parried the blow from the rapidly descending chain axe. He rose to his feet in an instant and saw his brother embroiled in a terrible battle with men that were once considered allies.
Thorn span around and faced his foe, firing several times into the helmet, and it exploded with terrifying force. As he turned ready to attack he saw something he did not expect to see.
\'Hello Thorn. It\'s been a long time. I think its time we settled a score, don\'t you?\'
Thorn realised that this was going to be so very much harder than they had anticipated. \'Chrassus. It\'s been a pleasure not to see you. I see the True Sons are still in existence?\'
\'Indeed. Now I tire of this conversation in words Thorn. I think you and I better speak from now on, in the language of war!\'
Chrassus leapt forward, and Thorn drew his power sword from its sheath, energy crackling from the blade.
The battle was begun.

Well... If Ron is using the events of the fight my marines won against a Broodlord as the basis of this, Thorn is going down but the chaos marines will inevitably be victorious.
If not... Then I have no clue.

Well I\'m not gonna say who\'s gonna win, you gotta keep tuned in, but I\'m sure that you\'ll all see references to your games in there somewhere. Even if its mixed with the wrong forces, as I have to use a little artistic (autistic?) license.
Keep them peelers peeled!!!!
And as for Chrassus and Thorn? Well... there could be a few lingering surprises yet...
