So, we've come to this point, have we?

Well... It had to come eventually: The crowning of the Arena Tournament's Summer Champion.

Every single Gladiator brought their A-Game to their Battles and not a single punch was pulled. Thank you all. I rather enjoyed managing this - but the maths for working out the winner? I can do without that, thank you.

And, again, the community of Astro deserves honourable mention. If it weren't for all you voters this project couldn't have happened. For that, I thank you. I'd REP you all but there's only so many hours in the day!

Every single competitor will be getting a small REP boost from myself - a small token of thanks.

In addition, I recall Kellen offered a prize of a model or a Black Library book. I can't comment if that still stands - Kellen, would you be so kind as to clarify?

And now, what you've all been waiting for...

I used a point system to calculate winners. A Win was worth three points, a Draw was worth one while a loss was worth nothing.

With that clarified... In reverse order...

With 3 points and a Win/Draw/Loss ratio of 1/0/5 - Overlord Dranhek! (GroxGlitch)

Following behind with six points and a ratio of 2/0/4 - Inquisitor Laos! (Ossai)

It all gets rather close here...

Tied position! With 9 points and a W/D/L of 3/0/3 - Aun'O'Vader (as himself) and Siravva Cormek! (Farskit)

And yet another tie! A single draw made this bracket possible, ladies and gentlemen.

Wow! I am surprised I took poll place; so many good RPer's in this thing made for a close and entertaining past couple of weeks.

I had a lot of fun reading and writing posts for this tournament and everyone did a great job at sticking out and muddling through till the very end.

My thanks to everyone who has participated and to Dan for hosting this whole thing and keeping it alive with 'gentle' reminders. Hope to see you all around next time.
