Just give them a wee rub down in warm soapy water.
I'm certainly not an expert on resin, but I gather there is some jiggery-pokery to do with it before it's ready to use. I recently ordered some resin 'nuclear guns' (see: meltaguns) and jetpacks from Maxmini, who have excellent delivery times by the way, and I am aware you need to clean them before use, but I'm not exactly sure how to do this.
Any help anyone can offer on this, or indeed any other, aspect of resin would be very much appreciated :)

Dish soap and water. Just make sure the water isn't very warm, as hot water will soften the resin and make it bendable.
Without meaning to sound stupid (or crude for that matter), how much rubbing do I need to do? I heard some people use toothbrushes?

Nah, just gently with your fingers. Toothbrushes are for paint removal![]()

So many jokes indeed. One about toothbrushes being for teeth also springs to mind...
I don't see a problem with using a toothbrush to clean your models, as long as you aren't too vigorous with it.
A toothbrush would be better than fingers as it would, well it's supposed to, get into the nooks and crannies. A pass or two should do the trick (with warm water, of course).
