500 point VC

Hey, just a quick list of my VC to get started and buying things. CC welcome.

Heroes:

Necromancer, Level 2, Master of the Dead

Core:

20 Skeletons, Spears, full command

11 Ghouls

Special:

5 Black Knights, full command.

Ghouls I've found to be dangerous at low points due to their poisoned attacks, and Black Knights act as a good hammer on the skeleton bunker. Not sure whether it's better to give the skeletons spears or hand weapons though.

EDIT: just realised the necromancer s 5 points over the 25%. Damn.

unlucky...

good list, not keen on black knights.... you'd be better off with a unit of graveguard. they do as much damage and have much more sustainability

Ah good point, cheers. I'm a big fan of the models for the black knights, started on them in my new log, but the Grave guard are awesome too. I'll work on a more solid list tomorrow, maybe a 1000 too.

I was thinking of tinkering with hexwraiths. It's alot of points for 500, but i can see them being unstoppable due to there being nearly no magic weapons at this level. That, or getting a banshee in a solid troop block.

Banshee. Oh god a Banshee. The Average Ld of heroes is about 8, and in anything less than 1k, lords will be very rare, and at that, most people will bring a wizard, so banshees can scream away for as long as she wants.
