That certainly puts my Helicopter work to shame :P Fantastic piece alex!
Well, seeing as the last one was close to 1000 posts, I figured it was time to start a new one, and seeing as the last one started with pics of a helicopter conversion it seems appropriate to keep up that trend with these pics.
Just needs "Aus" written on it somewhere, and some nose-art :)
I misplaced my battery charger over the holidays, so haven't posted pics in a while, but I found it today, so I'll be posting a whole bunch of new/old stuff soon - I finished repainting my entire (painted when I was 16-17) crimson fists army as Imperial fists - that's 2 tac squads, 1 devastator squad, 1 4-man bike squad, 5 terminators, a captain in termie armor, a captain in power armor, a librarian in power armor, a techmarine with conversion beamer, a chaplain, a dreadnought and a whirlwind. All in a bit less than 3 months.

Hey Alex, a question about your stormtrooper conversions there - Did you leave the belt part at the bottom of the IG torso on or did you cut that away so they weren't wearing two belts around? I looked back at your old thread, but I couldn't tell with some of them.
That helicopter conversion looks great, by the way.
Holy hell, that is one sweet conversion- that looks pretty epic. I'm not sure I'm a fan of the one tone colour (realistic as that is), but that is a pretty minor niggle. I really look forward to seeing this all done... hell, I'm tempted to steal the ideaREP bomb inbound.
Honsou's Astronomican WIP
Honsou's fiction:
Last Man Standing - 40K
Sanctus Ager - 40K
The Paths We Walk - 40K
Siege of Damath - 40K
On the Road to War - WHFB
The thing you need to realize about the astronomican is this: around here, insanity is no worse than the common cold.
Great start to MkIII .
One thing troubles me ..... where's the keg ?![]()
Nice sharing.
Thanks......
Thanks guys :) It's been a busy/crappy week (lost my job...) so not posting much, but I intend to make up for that today. First, with pics of a 19mm Dungeons and Dragons Gnome I'm doing for a customer in the States.
Also...
LC - I left the belts on - looks like they have 2 but one through the belt-loops holding up their pants and one with extra kit on it.
Foxy - Dammit, I knew I was missing something ! Now I've got to fidget a keg/case of beer into the inside with tweezers or something...
