Fantastic! Saves me looking up the rulebook next time I need to work out what I can do with my embarking/disembarking troops...
So Ron over at From The Warp put this together when 5th edition came out, its actually a really handy vehicle guide that you can fit on a single sheet of paper (front and back). I always have trouble with the whole, 'ok so I embarked - how far can I move again...'
Anyway, a very useful and intuitive cheat sheet right HERE![]()

A link, to a guide, that simplifies and clarifies rules for vehicles that has been published for over two years by a major blogging site without being asked to be removed by GW constitutes a blatant violation of copyright?
Sorry, I don't follow the logic?
I think its useful, other people clearly find it useful.
We aren't hosting the material on our site, we are merely linking to a site that has it.
We post rumors, reviews and debates about rules all the time. We clarify questions about rules and answer common questions citing specific references from the rules books all the time.
I don't see how this crosses the line, but please let me know if I am not looking at this the right way. I just thought it was helpful and that people who don't normally check other websites like I do might find it useful.
I don't mean to be combative, so please don't take it that way, but I don't see the harm in it.

I'm with you Tallarn (did I just hear the universe implode?) I don't see it in any way violates copyright.
I wish GW would include this type of quick reference in their rule book.

I think the gist of all of this is to make sure we, the Astro, don't get in trouble with GW. I could see GW throwing a hissy fit because someone copied the rules out of their book and put it on something that wasn't GW authorized.
However, the gentleman that made this handy reference sheet is not charging for it, so I doubt there will be any kind of repercussions. I could certainly see things going awry if we had to pay a dollar to download it.
