The Never Ending WIP II

I must say, that wing is coming along very nice. Some burn marks around the end of the thruster would be good. But overall I'm really liking the freehand work.

thats the plan, along with rusting and discolouration/coloured armour plates that don't match. i'm limited in resources atm, i'm buying some new ones tomorrow but obviously there's only so much i can with with what i've got atm. in about 3 weeks this log will explode. when its done buring i'll mekkify it better with more ork/orc action. i should have the results of the test tomorrow on my world eaters for the Urlock Gaur project, so you'll see whats coming in terms of detailing later.

The freehand, paint chipping and wear on that wing are very nicely done. Looking solid so far!

thanks luther, i do plan alot more, but i want to finish the other parts, maybe invest in some more matierials to increase the detailing... find some spare guns to strap on it, anything i can do to make it a higher quality build.

ok, results are in for the testing. i've spent about 30 minutes turning half a orange chalk stick into rust, and this is the result;






i think its worked pretty well, i might try for some other less vivid colours or mix in more brown and yellow dust to break up the coloring but all in all it think it works quite well. gonna need to find some more rust coloured sticks though,

I'm really liking the whole idea of Pastel chalks for rust thing going on through the forums. I might have to give it a try on my stuff.

thanks art, its definatly worth trying out, cheap but effective if you use it right.

ok time for a new update, got the second boar boy done, with two more in the works. i've lost one, but it'll turn up soon i expect, they always do.





the base is going to be snow, its a bit thin and dirty because i can't get my hands on chaos black or skull white atm, infact i'm using the last drips of white when doing the teeth.

Ok guys, i need some help. i saw these grot tanks and i've decided i've got to have some. however, i would like to.. eh.... look at the rules for them. if anyone can provide a link or a pm with a look at these rules i'd be very greatful. expect updates later on with my first tank.

before anyone asks, i've only got scraps left so i can't do much for the bomber till i put a plasticard order in next week. besides, i could easily complete one of these today and have a finished sexy funny model to show for an mekkish impulse.

ok, so i was able to find what i was looking for and after about 4 hours of riveting i was able to put together the first grot tank.




i'm going to try finish it tonight, but it may take a little more time. what do we think?
