I have not played any of Mantics games yet. Similair to 40K, or completely different rules set altogether?
the figures are very nice, they could represent a stormtrooper or gravchute regiment for IG. Or even Admech if you got creative.

...You have never stood in the Emperor’s light. Never worn the Imperial eagle. And you never will. You shall stand in midnight clad, your claws forever red with the lifeblood of my father’s failed empire, warring through the centuries as the talons of a murdered god. Rise, my sons, and take your wrath across the stars, in my name. In my memory. Rise, my Night Lords.

Got a little update on Antimatter Games (link), Deep Wars kickstarter project. The first few minis are starting to roll of the assembly line, and I for one am extremely happy I jumped in to help fund this project. Some amazing sculpts by talented artists, produced by a company that does some fantastic casting work. The full starter sets for all four factions should be available within the next month or two, afterwhich a series of mounted characters and extra support troops will be released. For those interested, it is still possible to pre-order some of these (link). But enough babble, on to the casts:
Some master models in resin came in so they were put together for a
family photo. The Steel-Jaw Placodem fish and Breaching Mech finally
have images of the minis. The heavy dive soldier for the Fortune Hunters
will eventually be cast in metal, but the master resin cast is shown
here.

These join a bunch of other figures that have been molded and cast. The resin master cast of the Octopod Stealth Biomech is shown above.

Defiance Games is previewing some of their upcoming releases:
"German Panzergrenadiers
The Panzergrenadiers are the elite of the German army and Germany's first responder in interstellar conflicts. The first plastic test parts are out of the mold and Ed is now tweaking parts and cavities for the production molds. We're so happy with how these have come out capturing all the intense detail from Tim's sculptures (see the comparison below). These first pictures are straight from Ed's workbench but we'll have parts in hand next week to show you all the options and better close ups of what goes into this 20 figure set. These will be releasing in early September.

Hardsuits
Next up are the impressive power armor suits of the United Americas Marine Corps. Hardsuits are organized into 4-Marine squads and carry a variety of heavy firepower - HMGs, missile launchers, hardbeam cannons, and flamethrowers for those nasty Bug hives and hard-to-crack German bunkers.
There will be 2 full squads per box - 8 multi-part hardsuits - bases - and a specialty figure that's an "extra" for you.
Tim has been cranking on the sculpture and he's almost finished (as you can see). We'll have these off for molding next week and they'll be out in September as well!

Last, but not least, we're excited to let you know there is a 3rd plastic set that is already finished! This is our first Edge set and it features figures we've never discussed before! The plastic is off with the painters as I type and we'll be showing them off next week!
Thanks again for all the support you've shown as we've figured out the new plastic production process and put everything in place. We're all very excited here to get rocking and rolling and pull the trigger on a LOAD of great new plastic sets for ALIEN WAR!
