Default My old Giant for my Orc and Gobblin army

I had this guy laying about and needed some points for a game against some High Elves. So i sat down and painted him up all quick like. It was kinda a rush job so the pants are all one color and not a hodge podge of colors. I think he came out quite nice.

    I hope you like it.

    Cheers

Ah yes, the good old gaint. Big fan of the new one, but this will always be the Orc giant for me. Rather like the more uniform colourscheme, works quite well with the dragonscales and stuff he's wearing.

God, I wish I could paint like that. And you said that was a quick paint job. My squad of twenty NG spearmen took me like eight hours.

That is really cool man! If that is you rrush-job I'd love to see your best effort! Now that must be quite something!

Anyway, I would suggest a wash on the bone jaw and maybe make his teeth a bit dirtier, but other than that, he is made of win!

    REP ahoy!

Thanks for all the kind comments. It does seem that the bigger the model is, the easier it is to paint. I look at a lot of my older stuff and wish i could sit down and do them again.

    Cheers all

The old metal giant is a great model - weighs a ton, so one can really enjoy stomping him around !

Great "quick" paint job too, well worth the rep.

Somehow with the big nasties, the faster you paint them the better they look
