Orcs: 495:
Orc Shaman, 20 Boys with two choppas and full command, Orc Chariot with 1 extra crew, 2 Trolls, 5 Wolfboys with Spears and Shortbows and full command
Lizardmen: 499:
Scar Veteran with Enchanted Shield and Light Armour, 16 Saurus Warriors with Shields, 12 Skinks with Blowpipes, 12 Skinks with Javelins
Deployment:

Green are Orcs, Blue Lizardmen.
Orcs Left to right: Shaman, Boys, Chariot, Trolls, Wolfboys
Lizardmen Left to right: Skinks (blowpipes), Saurus Warriors led by Scar-Veteran (dark blue box), Skinks (javelins). The skinks deployed using scouts rule.
Turn 1 Orcs:
The boys move up with a 6" March , wary of the poison darts of the skinks in the woods, and the Chariot moved 7" up alonside them, coming around the building slightly. The shaman climbed the hill looking for targets for his Gaze of Mork spell- and found the Lizardmen- but was to be dispelled. The Trolls moved around the house in the middle of the field after being clever enough to pass thier stupidity test heading towards the Javelin Skinks which were still out of sight. The wolfboys marched it around and loosed a volley from thier shortbows, and true to form missed with every shot.
Turn 1 Lizardmen:
The Scar Veteran and his Saurus warriors moved forward eagerly, wanting to get to grips with the greenskins ahead. The Blowpip SKinks loosed a volley and killed an Orc Boy, and the Javeliners threw several poisoned Javelins and struck thier targets, but failed to wound anything.
TURN 1:

Turn 2 Orcs:
The boys moved up towards the woods, intending to face the Saurus Warriors and wheeled left and moved up closer to the skinks as they maneuvered. The Shaman, again tried to loose off a Gaze of Mork at the Saurus but thier magical resistance was agin this time too good- the spell was dispelled. The chariot moved around the house and was going to be in charge range next turn, as the boars and the boys aboard drooled with eagerness to close ranks and fight. The trolls, were again clever enough to move forwards, and charged into the skinks' flank whilst the wolfboys struck home to the front. The combat was bloody and the skinks were almost wiped out to a lizard, with all return shots from the three remaining skinks failing to hit or wound. The resounding defeat meant the wolfboys were able to pursue and as they did so they chased so far that they ended up charging the flank of the Saurus Warriors, and that meant they did not have to face the Scar Veteran- there was hope in the Lizardmen turn!
Turn 2 Lizardmen:
Finding themselves pinned in place by an unexpected flank charge, the Saurus Warriors took a few casualties and gave none in return. The combat was a tie. The skinks in the woods loosed off another volley and felled another two Orcs.
TURN 2:

Turn 3 Orcs:
With the Saurus Warriors pinned in place the Orc Boys decided to charge the Skinks in the woods and found that they had enough movement to do so. They lost none to the Stand and Shoot reaction and hit the Skinks hard, killing 3 and taking no casualties in return. It was a resounding win and the skinks fell back but the Orcs were not fast enough to catch them and pursued deep into the woods... it seemed that they were going to be bogged down... Elsewhere, the Chariot Rammed into the front of the Saurus Warriors and caused a massive 4 casualties, whilst the Wolfboys chewed up another 2. The chariot recieved a wound in return and the wolfboys lost two of thier number. The Lizardmen held thier nerve and stood firm. The trolls just stood and drooled.
Turn 3 Lizardmen:
The Skinks in the woods rallied and turned to face the rampaging greenskins on thier tails. The Saurus unit fared badly with thier rolls and failed to injure anything, whilst the Wolfboys and the Chariot felled one. The combat was a tie.
TURN 3:

Turn 4 Orcs:
The Orc boys faced a stand and shoot reaction as they charged the skinks again, and lost another boy. However, the revenge they issues was more than enough and all 9 skinks were slaughtered in the woods. The Shaman was useless and failed to cast his spell. Elsewhere the battle raged hard and the Saurus warriors took another wound from the Chariot, but failed to injure the Wolfboys, whilst they recieved several casualties of thier own. Now outnumbered and out-wounded, the roll to stay and fight was failed and they fled the scene, and the chariot ran them down and off the table. The game was over and the Greenskins had won. The trolls had still not moved and were still drooling.
Indra: Overall it was a quick, fun game. There was a blinding bit of luck when the wolfboys overran into the Saurus warriors and held them firm, and failed to take any injuries themselves and I think that was the battle winning moment. It made for a fun game, and good dice rolls with my armour saves (I made so many 6's required rolls it was untrue!!) really helped as well. My mate Chris was using a borrowed army that I had knocking about and thinking back it might have been better if the Saurus were split into two units and there were less skinks. That probably would have worked better overall. Next time I'm sure I'll lose...

Good game.
Cheers,
Indra
