Right i havent played orcs for ages but have played aganist them so i will give it a look.

Lords

Im not sure how much the axecost would i think you should at least take some decent armour because there are a lot of minuses in warhammer this guy will be cut down to most other character. In addition to this he only has a 4+ save and thats it

I dont think black orc big bosses can take arcane artifacts only wizards can take these. Futhermore they havent got a lot armour again so you will loss your characters quickly

I would take the maddi map because it isnt that good instead give them something that he could use also who would he scout with or is it just by himself

In 2K you are going to get out magicet and therefore i would take some ore dispel scrolls instead

If this is like an orc combat list i would drop thesean bulk out the black orcs into a bigger unit

I would drop these to again bulk out the black orcs becuase these are the only speed unit in your army and therefore your entire army you willget left behind

As 'Your Conscience' has already mentioned, consider some extra protection. A cheap ward save will help your expensive heros stick around. (If they were gobbos they could jsut run away... hehe)

Can Gobbos take the totem? I can't remember... If they can give it to a big unit of gobbo archers and hide them...

Here you might want to consider changing this unit into 2 night gobbo units (which you could spead your fanatics into). These units will be really useful because they can re-direct charges and distract your opponent with out the risk of them panicing you expensive orcs when they run (and run they will! Hey, cut them some slack! they're only 5 feet tall... waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh)

For this unit, you might want to split them into 2 units of 5 with musicians to act as flank guards for the rest of your army. You could even get a load of small units of wolf riders to re-direct charges and such (but I'm in love with Gobbos so what do I know?)

Davrid, which army are you playing against?

Not sure about that Maads Map. On a roll of 2-6 it will make your Black Orc hero a scout on his own, can be risky.

Yer first time i seen madd map didnt really read it as only the model and yer lol so i changed it for Ulag's Akrit Axe lol

ummm there is no real rules saying the black orc cant take Enchented items
and with bulking up the black orcs i used to feild 20 but all that did was draw to much attention and they would be meesed up before even getting into combat so i spread the points to have 3 killer units instead of 1

yer the army i play is usally empire and wood elves and dark elves preety much the best of the best when it comes to armys and through fighting these battles many battle i have found that no matter what the night goblins die but not before the fanati do there job and the fanatics so far have worked for me 4/5 times that they have been in war but there was an un fortunat time where 2 stopped into the middle of my own unit the same unit twice thats 4D 6 strenght 5 hits u know not good for me

but thanks for ur advice guys really helps in order to slay with my WAAAAAAGH!

keep the advice going ill have an empire army list up soon so yer help me with that to if u can.

ummm there is no real rules saying the black orc cant take Enchented items..........yes i tthink there is he can't take a bound spell.

drop the shaman down to level 1, take a gobbo if its cheaper your not gonna cast anything anywway!

i would drop one of the characters in favour of some more units.
