so i have been reading about the assault phase so far (as it is the most confusing in some parts to me) and i have a couple of questions that i was sort of unsure about and wanted to get clarified.

1. If one of my units were in CC with an enemy unit, then another one of my units would not be able to fire at that enemy unit that is locked in with one of mine in CC, is that correct?

2. if an enemy unit has been engaged in CC by one of my units, then can another one of my units not in CC go ahead and move into assault with that enemy unit that is already engaged?

3. If two models in CC have the same initiative, and they are supposed to make attacks simultaneously, does this mean that they can pretty much kill each other at the same time, and does this mean that they both roll for wounds and such before removing any of models and if they both recieve a wound that would kill them then they are both removed together?

let me know if my questions arent making any sense and i will try to better ask them.

1. Correct. You cant shoot at units in CC.

2. Yes, multiple units can be involved in the same combat.

3. Models with the same Initiative roll at the same time, and are affected at the same time. So they can kill each other at the same time.

So, instead of rolling for one model, then applying the results, then rolling for the other, you roll for both models, then apply the results at the same time.
