Hello Guys

I know I have been absent for a while (bar the odd flying visit), but there has been a good reason.

I have been setting up my own business and am now an independent stockist of GW products, :WooHoo:, I've been busy setting up an online store.

Total Wargamer (http://www.totalwargamer.co.uk)

This is different to the arrangement I had before where I teamed up with an existing stockist to bring in a bit of money in, now I am dealing with GW directly.

I'm offering at least 15% off all purchases and FREE P&P.

Also an additional 5% off for Astroites on purchases over £20

Existing members have been e-mailed the promotional code they need to type in to get the extra 5% off, if you don't have it PM me.

Delivery will be 5 - 10 working days as I'm not maintaining large stock levels at the moment so will likely have to order stuff in quite frequently (although this will happen less and less as we go along).

So if you want to save money and support Astro as well please shop at Total Wargamer (http://www.totalwargamer.co.uk).

Cheers

Glad you like the look of it ZT.

BTW - guys from Europe - postage is £5 (still cheap).

UK is FREE Postage.

US & Canada is £10 Postage but as the £ is so strong at the mo I doubt anyone from North America will buy anyway.

Cheers

This looks very attracting! As I don't live in the UK, I probably won't make any small orders, but for larger ones (plus Christmas is near...), be sure I'll turn to you;)

Fighting of the next hangover, so a bit slow to respond tody ;) Very nice work Adders, nice look to the site as well!

Think my local store ia going to lose me pretty soon, as even with shipping it is still cheaper for me...and I live in Holland, so all the UK guys should be flocking to this like crazy!

Hello Guys

Well I thought I'd offer you guys a little extra discount.

Glad you all like the shop.

Mycosynth - Shame I can really put an offer together that will attract guys from North America but Stirling and the Euro are so string at the mo that there's nothing I can do (plus postage of course).

Good for you Adders :) I love to see it when efforts like yours pay off.
You've definitely got my business while I'm living in the UK
(Be moving to Australia in a few weeks)

Again, great going and it makes me happy to see your idea flourishing. I'll be registering an account right away!

Adders: I'm talking serious stuff here: With an advertisement campaign acros other sites (like bolter & chainsword, warseer etc.), you can get almost as much customers as the "Real" GW store!:woohoo:

B) B) B) Man you will become rich!B) B) B)

Anyways, I'll be ordering only from you in the future, since a Baneblade at your store costs only 75 euros (including shipping + 5% Astronite bonus) than a friggin' 100 euros at my store!

Cheers and congrats,
-Silver

Same here Silves, the 100 Euro prizetag has kept me from buying it. Think it is ridiculous they're so much cheaper in UK....not even going to start about US. The prize is insanely cheap, damn shame all the cheap stores charge bucketloads of shipping costs.

So it is settled, I'll be getting a Baneblade soon and the other bits I need for my renegades from your store!

Couple questions about how to use the site (never used one before) I registered and filled in all the details, but I'm not sure how I pay?

Where it says Billing Address, what is the difference between that and Shipping Address? I'm terrible sorry if that seems like a daft question :(
I just thought that the profile would have the Shipping Address, then somewhere to enter credit card details?

And on the Australia point, Adders, the family is moving over there soon. We're on the last stages of the emigration process, and should be hearing the final Yes in the next couple of weeks. With luck, we'll be out by Christmas, but it's taking so long :pinch:

Tell you what though, I won't half miss the UK. But there are so many things here I want to get away from too. Like where I live (Liverpool) it's terrible dangerous. I mean, in the last 3 days, a person has been killed per day - One was beaten to death while I was out hitting the town on Thursday. It's worrying.

Also on a last note, I will most definitely forward your site to people I know from my local GW. Of course, I'll do it discreetly - not going to overtly yell about your site with GW staff around, but do expect me to spread the word!

If you want to send the miniatures as a GIFT to someone, then you send it to them via the Shipping Address, while the Billing Address is yours so that you can pay, and not them (). Otherwise, both should be same.

Hope that helps,
-Silver

Blimey Adders, branching out a bit aren't you? At these prices there is just no question, I'm going to get cracking with my new account interfrastically!

Silver's right - billing address and shipping address differ in that one is your address the other is where you would like it sent to if different.

BTW - soon the whole process will be handled on site - I'll only be using paypal for a few days until my merchant account is fully setup.

All such help is most appreciated - -thanks AP

Good luck with the emigration thing.

Aun - Nice Black Adder ref... ;)

Yep branching out - gotta be worth a shot.

Just thought I'd best let you guys know that I've had to increase the prices for items below £50 to 10% discount (so with astro discount code will still be 15%), I did the sums and it just didn't add up any other way.

Still all items £50 or over still at 15% discount (with code 20%).

As far as I can see this is as cheap as anyone can do this stuff.

Well, given the fact that the nearest cheap onnline store to yours charges P&P thats still a prety big comparative discount as you send it to the UK free.

For what it's worth it's still a great deal. Clarify please one thing- is that 10% for items lower than £50 or orders less than £50? So if I order loads of stuff and it comes to greater than 50£ will I get the increased discount?

Cheers,

Indra

Hello Indra

Afraid not, if all items are below £50, you'll get 10% plus your astro discount of course.

This is as often the price GW sells the cheaper items for is less discounted than the more expensive items, so it's still fair.

to be frank you're still underselling GW, so you've got my business, all I need to do is get the models I already have painted and then I can look at getting some new stuff.

Cool

I just don't like promising a discount that I can't stick too, but it was either change the figures or be running at about 0% profit so I had no choice really.

Oh and by the way when I say 15% for items more than £50, I mean £50 RRP not after discount.

Cheers

Firstly, will you have the new toolkit on sale? If so, then I'll get it from you. But I've not got long! Let me know if you're getting these in.

Second, I'm still not sure how to pay.
Do I pay by credit card, putting my details on the site, or do you send a bill to the address provided and I send a cheque or something?
Sorry to sound like such an idiot :pinch:

Sorry, but bump? I'd love an answer to this as it's really bugging me. Plus, my time is really running out. If I don't place orders soon I'll never be able to buy from here :(
I fly out on Dec 25th, and I've got to have my house all sorted by Dec 23rd, so that means I can't order any later than Dec 5th!

Well, fair's fair. I've now used TW to buy some odds and ends. and the verdict is a definite two thumbs up.

I was looking for a few odds and ends and found the user interface to be very simple, and exceedingly user friendly. the purchasing process was seamless, and I am pretty happy with the security re-assurances on the site as well, to the extent where I was happy to use my credit card rather than paypal as I have had poor experiences with their security before.

There was, I will admit, a few small issues with a spurious email that I received, but it was a simple matter to contact TW and sort it out, which took all of 5 minutes!

And now I have my stuff, and very lovely it is, all mint in box a cheaper than if I had bought it from GW, I am one happy customer.

So in summary, if you are looking for GW stuff in the UK especially, if you want to save a bit of money into the deal, and if you don't mind waiting a week for stuff to be delivered, then I cannot recommend Totalwargamer (http://www.totalwargamer.co.uk) highly enough.

If you don't hear back from me by thursday morning (working all day and night tomorrow) drop me a pm and I'll go straight to the source - Adders.

Well, I have reccomended my parents buy from the store after lots of research into online stores. Total Wargamer seemed the best one.

I know it does not matter and all but I would like to say the site is very good and the discounts are excellent. Topped off with the delivery days I must say it seems like an excellent investment.

Only 2nd hand armies on ebay can beat the price of Adders' shop. I still fail to understand how he manages to keep the prices so low! Amazing guy.

Send me a PM if you got that code, Heph!
