Um, I'm starting Dark Elves in case your wondering.... :D


Bought the rules and the DE army list and currently just at the stage of picking my first unit to buy. Warriors and dark riders are the most likely. Colours are going to be dark red with either grey or blue skin - or just tanned if that dosen't look good.

Main conversions will be the Witch Elves from demonette, female wardancers and harpy bodies (hags are supposed to be ugly a lot of the time) and maybe some wild rider-like conversions to make a witch dark rider unit.

Current plan is to do a border fort garrison with the units restricted to:

High Sorceress as lord (local cust leader)
Scorceress (local cult)
Noble (Garrison commander)
Crossbow warriors (garrison troops)
Shades (scouts)
Witches (local girls)
Dark riders (fast cavalry - road patrol)
Reaper boltshooters (from the fort defences)
Cauldron of blood (local girls)

The above might be impractical, but I will see how I go. I've banned purchase of any more nids and need to get them tarted up and finished so I can concentrate on Dark Elves.


rough 2000 point list

lvl 4 high sorc on pegasus
lvl 2 sorc on steed
2x 15 warriors with Xbows & shields
1x6 shades
1x20 witches (might try a conversion to female corsairs to free up a rare/special slot)
2x6 dark riders
2x reaper boltshooters

yep, the HE dragon is on the list of things to get, probably a hydra and somce chariots as well.

And there's not a lot of scope for depravity in a nid list, so I have a lot of catching up to do :) Currently I just frighten the little people in the stores with my nids, these girls should be nicely distracting.

Look through the DE army list next time you are near a store, you will see what I mean.

I was looking through figure ranges today and the Amazon blood bowl team is looking like a good conversion option, the existing DE witches are a bit too squat to be elves.

I would assume that the Dark Elves army book has lots of pictures of breasts, of course, I havent looked at the army book in any great detail, so its just an assumption.

OK painting mostly done and first game on Sunday with what I have painted.


So far we are:

Noble on DP with Lance, Hvy Arm, Sea Dragon cloak (+1 versus melee and +2 versus shooting) & RXB - enchanted shield (+2 save)
LvL 2 sorceress with DS - 40 points goodies
Lvl 2 sorceress - 45 points goodies

12x RXB with shields
12x RXB with shields
5x dark riders with muso

Chariot with spears
