Yeah, it's alright for the skinks. Just warn your opponent beforehand.

I'll be honest, I don't like the idea of a 2nd gen. Slann in a 2k army. But I admit it can be insanely powerful.

You lack only one thing and that would be Terradons, or Salamanders. Have you got the models of your list already or is it still in the planning stage?

I agree with Farskit. I would take salammanders for the sheer killing power that they actually offer. Also drop the spears on one unit so that you are able to get some points spare for a scar veteran to be taken because you do need some combat killing power and chariot killing. Finally give some of your skinks scout as well
