Topic says it all. Whats was the funniest or unluckiest thing to happen to you in a game?
The funnist thing that happened to me in a game was when i was using my Librians Hellfire i fried to of my own marines and only 1 of the opponenets also because i then fired my pistols (having moved) i was then unable to assault so then they got butchered
My unluckiest thing to happen was may friends LOD traitors fired his lasguns at my tyrant and they wonded i then said \"Easy\" and i promptly rolled double one!!! :(

Always my Tyrant. Every time. He always gets killed by some kind of low strength weapon that really shouldn\'t have killed him after he survives hordes of lascannon fire.
Every bleeding time...

hmmm, funniest thing that\'s happened to me would have to be a throw up between these two:
When my Cypher model blew up a Predator with his plasma pistol, and the explosion then destroyed the enemy squad around it
When my archon killed my enemy\'s daemon prince-classic!

Hahah here comes a funny one:
I was battling a Destructor-lord (Necrons) with a fully kitted out double-mind war (3rd ed) Seer Council.
Twice Mind war, 2 wounds. Starcannon fire from nearby Guardian Squads - no wounds. Starcannon fire from Wraithlord - no wounds!!
And then - I killed him with a bloody shurikenpistol! A SHURIKENPISTOL!!!!!
You should\'ve seen the look on my friend\'s face when he rolled a 2 (for armor) and then a 3 (for WBB)!!
:woohoo:
Cheers

(we also later discovered that due to deamonic something-i-cant-rember that he isn\'t subject to instant death but it was funny at the time.

posibly my funiest but quite damn luckiest moments was wen i was fighting my mates tau army.
my 190 divison had been defeated and was blocked by my own dead tank, the tau fire warriors backed up with a crisis battle suit behind it, and a city ruin. i succeeded the Ld test (for once) assualted the fire warriors and wiped every one out from a squad of 9 (rolled 5\'s and 6\'s every throw! woohoo!) then in the subsequent turn shot the battle suit to pieces!
thats probally my damn finest hour.
my most unlucky was probally when i had 2 carnifexs rip my tanks in half then just got completely pwned by a few ripper swarms! how do you get killed by rippers!

Three of my IG\'s shining moments:
A squad of guardsmen were redeploying through a forest to get into a good position for my Heavy Bolter, when a squad of Assault Termies landed literally 6\" away on deep strike, but I somehow got lucky on my cover saves when they shot at me. When I shot back, I rolled my flashlight shots first and killed them without the help of my HB.
My Bassie shoots a LRC in cover with five Termies inside. 6 to pen, he failed his hull down, and 6 on the ordnance penning chart. The subsequent blast also killed three marines in a nearby squad.
In a huge \'nid swarm combat, about four and a half squads of various bugs were held up by two squads of about 3 left each. I shoot my LR, Bassie, and Mortars all at a nearby Carnifex, but every shot scatters onto that critical mass, leaving 4 Genestealers, and some 10 guants left to combat my remaining three Guardsmen. Later that Shooting phase, I kill the Carnifex with my Lascannons
Unluckiest moment:
In the turn they came in, every Meltagun squad in my Drop Troop army decided to land on the tanks they were supposed to hunt.

The best thing that happened to me was when my chaplain got charged by two full squad of DE mandrakes. 60 attacks, all failed to scratch my chaplain. he had no retinue and a plasma pistol/crozius. he then killed 2 mandrakes and they stayed locked. in the next assault phase, the mandrakes got 40 attacks and failed all of them again! my untouched chaplain then bashed in the heads of 4 more mandrakes, leaving the squad under half strength and fleeing off the board, the other full squad remained. In the third assault phase, my chaplain killed three, took one wound, and pursued, AND overran the rest of the mandrakes. BOOM!

18 Dark Eldar Warriors meet the face of death: A Chaplain, escorted by a full group of Assault Marines.
Quick, 34 attacks on the marines! All failed. Come on Agonizer, do your stuff! 1 marine bites it. That\'s okay, because Chaplain failed all 3 of his attacks, and only one marine actually scored a killing blow. Okay, next turn, same exact thing happens, minus the charging attacks. Next turn, 2 Eldar bite it to the marines while taking one with them. Turn after turn, they continue the fight, failing to do any significant damage to one another. Finally, the Eldar get a burst of luck and get multiple wounding hits. As if that\'s not enough, all six of the remaining Assault Marines die to those very wounds. Next turn, Chaplain meets a gruesome fate after a horde attack from the warriors. Chaplain\'s kill count the whole battle? 0. The squad then massacred 6\'\', then made a mad dash past some Land Speeders, then Fleeted into the objective, winning the game.
As if that wasn\'t enough, some Mandrakes decided to potshot some marines with ten Splinter Pistols. The kill count? Three, enough to make my opponent take a morale check before charging. Continue from the post above from Squall, and you\'ll see the rest of what happened.

Actually, a couple of days ago two things happened during the same game.
The first was the encounter of a \"blessed\" Wardancer unit. These guys were simply invulnerable.
My warp-Lighting cannon shoots at them: it explodes in a spectacular misfire.
A ratling aims these puny skirmishers: it ends up pumping 12 shot into my Plague Monks, and blows up next turn as it tried to shoot them again.
Then I say, enough of all this! Magic will solve my problem. Wapr-Lighting spell on the wardancers, my opponent fails to dispel, now I have to roll for 2d6 S5 hits: snake eyes! Problem is, with this spell, if you roll a 1 when rolling for the number of hits, it\'s your sorcerer that takes the hit.
Therefore, with a double one, the Warlock took two hits, whith easily obliterated him.
These same wardancers went on to smash through my Stormvermin, Plague Monks, and a unit of Clanrats.
Although they massacred me, it was incredibly funny to see everything that got in their way get destroyed:lol:
The other \"funny\" thing was actually quite hurtful for me, but caused quite a lot. I was hurriedly checking some rule about skirmishers (do they have a flank, or not?) when I... dropped the big red rulebook. On my toe. I was wearing sandals.
Kids, don\'t try to do this. IT HURTS!
My opponent did not fail to point out that I had been checking the rulebook beacause of the Wardancers. See? it\'s the Wardancers fault AGAIN!
Next time I see them, I\'ll make sure they have a very nast death. Preferably turn one.

lol that reminds me of me clanrat slaves who against a 18 strong black ork unit (i was 20 myself) he gets the charge on them and they take only 1 wound! on top of that they manage to kill one black orc in return (with their shoddy weapon skill and strength mind you) and win combat just by numbers he goes \"ha! leadership of 8? [-1 due to loss of combat] easy as pie!\" he then promptly rolls box cars and i give chase obliterating his black orcs and me slaves being the most glorified unit in the game!

Yeah, Slaves orck:lol:
Once they got charged by a Chaos Exalted Champion, mounted on some Chaos Beast, he inflinct one wound, slaves do none, they win by numbers alone, he fails his morale test, fails the re-roll (mark of the Undivided), flees, and my slaves catch him.
Glory day!

yay slaves :D
I think me Warplock Engineer is the luckiest though as like the quote i just put in my sig all but the pistol happened on one turn and he survived it all only to of course next turn shoot himself in the foot and have to be carried off the battle field lol.
