Ok, this is meant to be the \"core\" for my future 2K Lizardmen force, but for now 1000 pts will suffice. The list I intend to make will be completely based on close-combat rather than shooting or magic.
This army will also be the subject of my \'Tale of X Gamers\' reports.
-Krog-Ax, He who knows the way: Saurus Scar-Veteran.
Marks of Tepok and Itzl
Cold One, Light Armour, Shield, Hornet Sword.
-Tzelactxil, Who came to guide: Skink Priest
Dispel Scroll
-Jungle\'s Poison: 10 Skink Scouts with blowpipes
-Jungle\'s Fist: 15 Saurus Warriors
Full Command
--Jungle\'s Talon: 15 Saurus Warriors
Full Command.
-Jungle\'s Jaw: 6 Saurus Cavalry
Champion and Standard Bearer
Totem of Huanchi
The Scar-Veteran will later be promoted to Oldblood and recieve the Mark of the Old Ones (granting him re-rolls).
For now, I have magical defence in the form of a \"Scroll Caddy\" (my level 1 priest) and the Mark of Tepok (+1 Dispel Dice).
The Scar-Veteran packs a lot of hitting strength, his sword allowing him to strike first. His unit is also virtually the equal of any super-heavy cavalry unit.
Then, Saurus form the łain battle line, they are strong and I rely on them to win fights. The Skinks will hunt for warmachines and light units, if they don\'t get shot to death, and maybe even sneak behind enemy units before they are charged by the saurus and hopefully sent running away.
