Here is one, does anybody remember Man o\' War? I got started with gw games with that one. I loved it, but then found out they didn\'t produce it anymore. I was heart broken, then I got into 40k and had a lot of fun with that.

In man o\' war I use to either chaos dwarves or skaven. those were really fun fleets. What did ya\'ll play?

I still got Man o War and have a high elf fleet and a dwarf one.

I can put together a bretonnian one with different scale ships but I still play it on the odd occasion.

I think that one was just before my time, 10 years plus yeh?
I\'ve heard a bit about it, sounds like a fun game. In fact a lot of the originals appear to be great, Man O\' War, Space Hulk etc. I did play Gorkamorka for a little while, now there was a great game!

It would be great if GW started supporting the older systems, I know Necro and friends are in the specialist games but Gorka and Man O\'War would likely be very popular if they made a reappearance.

Do you still play it then Dad0twins? Try introducing it to your gaming circle if you can, retro is the way forward haha!

I wish, I tried to get the old models and rules but nobody but some of my friends back home still have it. I never got the chance to get the models. But back in FL it was a regular thing.

This definetely before my GW time, so its a fleet type game? and GW discontinued it, bummer. I would have enjoyed that.

It was a fleet based fantasy game. It was a blast. It was the start of a near 10 year obsession with the hobby. I want to get started in BFG but my wife won\'t let me.

yeah im going to get into that too, but later, much later. I must use up all my Ideas for normal 40k first.

to me the thing about BFG is it allows you to do complete campaigns. fighting planetary defences, establishing a foothold. to me it\'s an interesting plot.

yeah, and the idea of commanding your own fleet, even carving each ships name into its side will be cool enough.

I always wanted to get into BFG, but my local GW dosn\'t stock anything but the rulebook. Might order some online when I have some cash...
