Well guys, after Indra converted an awesome chapter master for me, I decided to try and create a nice bodyguard for him..

So far I\'ve only done a bit of arm swapping, filling in large gaps, filing and resculpting chapter specific details but I think they are coming along okay for my first attempt lol!

I\'ll try moving onto more actual sculpting next.. wish I had someone to teach me :(

i think thats very good! My first attempt at sculpting was quite awful (although that was 8 years ago)

all it takes is a bit of patience and the right tool ands you can make a masterpeice!

i bought mine from GW for ?8 and i actually think it was worth it, good quality tools that will probablies last forever. Did you find some of the smaller drill bits dont fit properly? i had to put tape around them to make them fit.

I buy all my other stuff from heresy miniatures, im not sure what the website is but if you google it you will find it. You can buy green stuff in tubes, and its a lot fresher than the stuff thats been sat in a GW store for months. Basically its not both coliurs attached so you dont get an unusable bit in the middle.

its quite an appropriate name - its a couple of GW guys who didnt want to work for games workshop any more - so thats where heresy come from.

the sculpting tool from games workshop is a rip-off. You can buy a whole set of diferent tools from heresy for just a couple pounds more.

Also for intricate detail you need something with a fine edge, i personally use a sclpul from an art shop, but the GW sculpting tool isnt able to do that kind of thing.
