Have fun

Okay, lets kick things off with my progress. I get excited with dioramas and the first world war so I made alot of progress in one day!

Using a cardboard base, grout, filler and some unfortunate guardsmen, I have been able to make the rough version of my diorama. more grout will be added to make the terrain bumpy and look like mud then sand will be added.

and a couple of dead guys in the mud...

Hopefully this has given other people some ideas and maybe encouraged others to have a go!

Ocelot.

Nice, so you\'re going for the muddy WW1 atmosphere. I really like those forgeworld models, damn shame that for some reason they do not accept certain creditcard from Holland.

I couldn\'t to sleep last night so I smoothed everything off and filled in all the gaps between the mounds.

Good work there mate. I find that Black Poster paint from any art shop at about ?2 a big bottle is ideal for scenery undercoating.

Here\'s an example of a piece of my homemade terrain:

and here\'s the link (http://s46.photobucket.com/albums/f118/RonJonesLP/Lava%20Pool%20Step%20By%20Step/) to the step by step pics of the thing too.

Looking Good so far mate.
