hey, i played mordheim for awhile but i havent dabbled in fantasy related things for quite a while, mostly because i have been playing with friends who play 40k only right now

i loved Middenheimers, i had a band rating probably around 200 i think

i may very well paint up a warband soon, just because i like the game! and painting individual models too!

i want to get all the expansion on rules and such, i need to find that book somehwre

Ok, starks and other players to be: The rule books can be found for free downloads at:

Mordheim (http://www.specialist-games.com/mordheim/default.asp)

Underneath the rulebook menu on the left. Within that area the Expansion: Empire in Flames is also available. Not sure where you\'d find town cryer though with all the orc warband rules (I have the book, it may still be available)

And as for warbands, its a tough call. You really need to see a rulebook, downloaded or otherwise and learn how the game works before deciding, as they all play very differently. I liked skaven because of thier speed, and maximum warband size, but there are other types too.

I currently play orcs, and lost this evening to my better half, who whipped me with some very funny turns of events. I was winning and one turn later the dice let me down... but it was all fun anyway.

Hope you try it out, its a great game. Look into the modelling menu on the left at the Cheap Terrain Article. It\'s all about how I made Mordheim ruins for a very cheap cost. You might find it interesting.

Yeah Town Cryer is a cool book. Only thing was it was all black and white, no colour pages. But hey, I get to have an orc and gobbo warband now...
