Alright guys, this has been bugging me for quite a while now. Could anyone tell me any simple (but effective) ways of painting human hair???
Cheers,

I use a nice base colour slightly darer than the intended colour. Then a quick, light drybrush of a colour slightly lighter than what you were hoping for. This is good enough for basic troops and to get them on the board, but you can add a couple more lighter drybrushes to add better definition and a very thinned down ink wash to finish it all off.
This works for me generally. But I\'m sure people who are better at painting than I am will come in with lots more advice!

well you can paint it like anything else, main colour, dark shade and light highlight colour:P
the colours you choose are up to you
dont paint with the tip of your brush, use the side, much easier to hit edges evenly

just an update with the blonde hair ive done, i quite like it, its a bit messy(unclean lines in places) when you look up close, but thats because i used my crappy GW brush and the bristles are all over the place, im still waiting to switch to my nice brushes..for what? i dont know...probably liquid brush cleaner as i keep saying
anyways, pics:

i used snakebite leather, mixed it with a bit of midnight blue for shades, added bronzed flesh to highlight up, then bronzed flesh plus elf flesh for the brightest highlight...for the extra dark shades i added scorched brown to the bluey snakebite
