My Games Day Project

So this is my big games day project, a huge Dark Elf Black Dragon worthy of Malekith

So here it is, in its very basic form, i havent begun muscles or anything like that, he will get bulkier, and the wings arent finished, this just shows basic shape

i changed his stance, his hind legs are more like the one in the pic now as the cliff will have a decline towards the edge, gviing more purpose to why hes holding onto the tree with his tail

i just baked it, so ill be starting to add character to it soon

***the stuff in the box beside it :P...and im hoping it works out as planned, it will double as the centrepiece to my dark elf army, which oddly enough is basicly being entered for games day(well thats the plan) my noble, my executioners and the dragon so i couldnt only do half the army to that level :P

after all is said and done i might eventually sell it, depending on whether i decide to move or not but thats far in the future so ya, i have till May to get this done, which might sound like a lot of time...but its really not!

Man thts immense, just one query, your wings start in the middle of his back whereas in the inspiration they are just behind the front leg muscles.

they will be a bit further forward when its complete as i will build the arms into the body slightly, and the joint will be further forward as the wings are bent, i think it will make more sense that way because of his long tail(forward towards front rrather than the back)

so ive postponed this a bit as im awaiting greenstuff, and trying to get work done on a bunch of other stuff

im also heading down to california to visit family for christmas for 2 weeks so no work being done then :)
