I wish my drawing skill was that good. At the moment I am still working on the basics and all I can really do is copy (Not trace! Copying something is completely different to tracing it. Tracing requires no thinking at all :p) at the moment.

that's the way to do it ,keep copying until it becomes second nature then you can start experimting ,keep at it ossai and you'll get there ,the main thing is enjoy what you do :happy::sunglasses:

I really like your use of water colours in allot of the art works, gives them a real unique look but still utterly 40k to the core and the detail is amazing.

My favourite is the Cadian Sniper, like the perspective on the rifle, it's just perfectly done.

I draw myself, but am highly limited in my media (is that the right word?) just pencil, pencil for everything, seeing this almost inspires me to try something different lol

it dosn't matter ,i've seen some really fantasic work just with pencil :sunglasses:
as long as you enjoy it keep at it ,i'm no artist i just enjoy what i do and i'm flattered to be able to share them but i'm far from being great :sigh: but i'll keep on because i enjoy it :happy:

i agree,
altho i shouldn't , because i know nothing of tablets ,cgi,ect ,and have seen some fantastic artwork done this way but tis still a big mustery to me :happy:

Most people i know in graphic design still use pencil and ink to start the sketch, then scan it and go to town :D

Though i must admit there's nothing like using oil paints and a brush. But digital gives you so much more

Cool stuff allround again, but Abaddon definitely stands out the most. Fantastic colour and lighting work on that one mate, one's attention is instanly drawn to his grim face and only after that do you start looking at the rest of the character and noticing all the cool details!
