Dark Riders Wanted

Hey there fellow gamers. I was looking to get some dark riders if there are people who have them and don't want them anymore. Either that or any tips on converting would be helpful. I don't really have much to trade for so I believe money is in order. Let me know!

if your looking at converting some up, a good start is the wood elf glade riders, mixed with the dark elf spearman set to get crossbows and spears. between those two ye can get some half decent ones going :)

Glade Riders+Warriors is definatly the way to go unless you are a chump like me and fork out for the metal blisters lol.

I mean, I like the models, but 12 dollars each makes it really hard on my wallet lol. Do the glade rider conversions look good? I do have alot of warriors and corsair bits lying about... I do want to field them, I like having core calvary...

Go for it! They should certainly look the part, and even if the kitbashes are a little off, it shouldnt be anything a small bit of Green Stuff cant cure! Besides, if you get the bits together, we can help you at any point, so what do you have to lose?

Do the glade rider conversions look good?

This is what they will look like 'naked' though a lot of people tend to GS some cloaks onto them.

Oh wow now that looks not bad at all! That looks good. The cloak may not be that necessary, I do like the cloaked metal ones, but those still look good, kinda a more martial look to them. Add some spikey bits, glue the crossbow to the side and you got a good looking model. I also saw some good conversions of corsairs on them too, their cloaks and reaper hand bows also look good. Thanks guys, I think I will give it a try then!

you could always try ebay for spare wood elf glade guard cloaks....
