Took pics of these for a client who wants a Slann mage priest sculpted with his hands in the air holding a glowing orb - I'm going to try running an LED through the sculpt :) Anyway, here's my Bloodbowl Slann, converted from kroot with a lot of putty work.

First, the LineSlann

And Star Blitzers "Xipe Totec" (the flayed one - hence his skin suit - yuck!) and Xopalotahedz.

Thanks Dev :) I did another set for a buddy of mine too, so I've had a bit of practice makin' frog heads onto kroot. The mage priest I'm going to build for this client is going to look pretty awesome - I'll post stuff in my WIP once I get the parts I need. I'm going to go to the hobby shop that sells train stuff, see if they have tiny working streetlights with a round LED, some wire and a battery bit all in one go.

Nice BB team. I keep thinking I should get one. Ah, but which one? Undead? Chaos? Skaven? Too many choices!

Thanks guys ! :)

Laz - I'd recommend you start with Humans or Orks - they're the best teams to learn the game with, plus you get a set of each with the boxed game. Dwarves, High elves, and Tomb kings are the hardest to play properly until you get good. Never won a game with my dwarves, never scored in more than half of them. Big learning curve to Bloodbowl sometimes.

Excellent looking team mate, really like the old schoolness of them.

Interesting to hear about the dwarfs, HE and Tomb Kings, I always figured Goblins would be in that list as well with them dropping like flies. Never got around to playing them, some day, some day ;)

Goblins are easier now that you can use all the special weapons in a regular team. Chainsaw, bomber, ball-and-chain fanatic, pogo stick, and up to 4 trolls as well :) Tomb kings skilled players (Blitz-ra and Throw-ra) aren't as good as a lot of other teams and the big guy mummies are so slow and unreliable as blockers. Dwarves get beaten because of their lousy movement - keeping your cage intact and backing up your line with guys who have guard skill is imperative. High elves aren't quite tough enough to be a beater team, but their skills and stats don't make them as "finesse" a team as Wood Elves. The hardest team to play well is halflings. All your players are squishy midgets or treemen that spend most of the game rooted or knocked down...
