We have over here Sam McHorne and her Devil Dogs. Sorry about the quality of the devil dogs and sam before hand I had not painted in like a year before I started on these guys so they are kinda blah.

Good stuff, the Devildogs could do with washes and touchups, but the scheme is good. We're taking over this "Other" gallery with Warmachine today apparently :)

Gotta do what PP says Play like you got a Pair. We just took it to take over gallery like we got a pair.
Your butcher looks excellent :)

Yeah I really liked the way he turned out to bad I painted him for someone else. I also resized all the other pics to tidy up this thread some.
Here will be Nomad's favorite I think the Nomad.

Very kewl. I like the butcher. I should put up my new khador army as well. Though I though it would be taboo here. ;)

I updated the Pic of the Nomad the more I looked at the more I didn't like it.It dawned on me that I didn't run it through my photo program so here it is all nice and updated.

I have 2 new ones for you guys I have been sitting on these 2 for weeks now waiting on some new matte varnish. I had a can of GW that lasted me for 5 yrs and that is awesome. So since they do not make it anymore that I know of I am using the Army Painter brand and it seems to work really really well I love.

Very nice :) I like the weathering on the armor plates a lot - especially the shield on the Vanguard.

I thought some of you guys might enjoy seeing this fellow here. It is actually the first Jack I ever bought and the latest to be painted lol.
The pic isnt the best so I apologize for that up front.

Looking great Dev!
I'm digging on those deeper blues, and metallics....they really make the heathen Cygnar Bird stand out.
Oddly enough, I'm not usually one for it....but, I rather like the blue trim of the base. Great touch!

Very nice shade of blue you have going there Devon, really makes it even more steampunky!

Well worth the wait on the paint job. Looks great, accursed blue though it is.

A fine paint job there Dev. Just a shame it had to be Cygnar. ;)

Dev,+rep for sharing / showing your pics :sunglasses:
really nice models,:sunglasses:
(i'm curios, why the white lines on the base ?is it a front/back thing?)
10-07-2011, 04:07 PM
The lines are to deliniate facing of the model which is extremely important in movement, charging, shooting and CC in Warmachordes. Most models have a 180 degree forward arc whilst some have 360. An attack on the back arc of a model also gets bonuses.
11-07-2011, 03:14 AM
Yeah what he said. I usually paint the bases in my Warmachine armies to denote the front arc but with this guy I had these 2 colors that were so close to my TN Titans that I went with it and If they are llaelese units I paint the front arc purple and the rest of the mercs just green. It is just a little personalization to it.

i thought it was something like that but wasn't sure ,thanks both for clearing up the confusion:happy:

Here is Rutger Shaw for you guys. I might have a pick of him after I completely finished him but I am not sure so here is a painted pic of him at least.

I like the color scheme, Dev...and the orange adds a great counter point, and sweet contrast.
Looking good!
