Sealer removed paint?

I spent several days painting an Ork Trukk, and it turned out fabulous. I used GW Pure Sealer and when it dried it seems to have removed any Boltgun Metal paint (which was painted over the chaos black undercoat I sprayed on the whole model).

In those places where the Boltgun Metal was, I now have no paint and just model (which appears to be nicely sealed).

Has this happened to anyone else?

I am very discouraged.

I believe, (from what I've heard) you need to spray it with varnish first then with the sealer, to prevent that from happening.

I have had so many minis screwed up by GW sealer in that way. I switched to Krylon It works better cheaper and dose not yellow over time like GW sealer dose.

Don't really use it, but I've heard that you need to spray it with something else first... and make sure everything is properly dry.
