I'm looking to pick up two or three more tac squads to really dig into my deathwatch army. I've seen some auctions up for the AoBR squads, and I was wondering if there was any equipability/poseability/etc that these models lacked in comparison to the standard tac squad box.

You can't do all that much with them because of the static pose and how the weapons go across the chest. The two tac squads I've done so far are from Battle for Macragge and AoBR so they're both similar but with them being a few years apart the AoBR stuff has a bit more animation and detail. As filler squads they'd be fine, but I think to have 3 on the go they'd look a bit to "samey"

bleh, ok. Guess I'll probably pay the extra few bucks for real tac squads.... sucks, that $15 free shipping was looking nice too ;;

I don't think one would look bad, the marines in my signature are the ones from Macragge and they look ok.

Yea, but for my Deathwatch I want each guy to be somewhat unique. I'll be doing a lot of chopping on arms to make individual poses, not to mention everyone will have a differnt sholder pad. One pose mini's aren't going to be usefull for that kind of thing.

Ah I see, yeah they're absolutely no good to you what so ever then.

If you're just looking for bog-standard squads, and you can pick up AoBR at a good price then that may not be a bad call to make. That said, conversions are an unnecessary pain in the behind. If you're looking for more personalization, get proper squads.

Ok... One more question, this time about a librarian:

I want this (http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat1020020&prodId=prod1050251) one. But all I can find is a "random" blister like this (http://www.amazon.com/Space-Marines-Terminator-Librarian-Blister/dp/B000NI9TXI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&m=AQTYRQN0XQKLX&s=generic&qid=1261090161&sr=1-1). Any idea what the chance of me getting the right one are?

I thought there was only one Termi librarian...

The blister looks like that body (the picture that is) but I think I see a storm bolter in there? Am I wrong?

I'm 90% sure they come with Storm Bolters too...

That and a Combi-Plasma I think.

Hmmmmm... they would take place of the staff or the casting arm?

I thought there was only one Termi librarian...

There are 3. Pherion, I hate to break it to you but the best way to get the exact right one is to order it from Games Workshop- you can order the exact right one.

Honsou, can you find pics of the other two? I can not.

Another question for everyone. Does the Landspeeder box come with all its options?

I'm pretty sure from looking at GW's site, and other sellers, that the second one is a completely differnt blister, not a randomization of the first one.

You're thrid link doesn't work.

Third one is the Space Hulk one..... My whole question earlyer was if I got the linked blister if I was likely to get the one I wanted.....

Hmm... this is turning into "How to Model Marines!"

Anyone know if there is any way to get a Dreadnaught Multi-Melta other than the AoBR dread?

Ah, yes, I was simply commenting on the fact that there are 3 main GW Librarian designs. As to your question regarding which one you wanted: that depends on the site. GW used and and in some packs still does (it does say though- usually it's the multiple models blisters) send a random selection. Some sites will do this- check their blurb and the model info. It should say if you can a random selection or not (being that there are two metal blisters, you could theoretically be sent onr or the other- the 3rd model you'll need to buy yourself. They go for 20+, unless you can ninja a badly painted one or something on ebay or somewhere).

Personally, I recommend the plastic one. It can be a little more expensive, but it's plastic... which makes up for everything. Metal is that much of a pain, if you ask me.

Dread multi-melta? Well, you can build it yourself (I've got an example of this in my WIP, not hard at all) or you could try bitzbox (http://www.bitzbox.co.uk/index.php?cPath=21_27_268). I've taken the liberty of selecting the right page- you'll find it about half way down, on the far right.

It's out of stock right now- but make sure you click on the replenish link, it will get in faster. Then just keep an eye out, and perhaps try some other bitz sites as well, just in case. It will cost you 80p, but note that the shipping with cost at least 1.50- if it's urgent that may be alright (I just received my banner I bought... the shipping cost me 3 times more than the bit). My recommendation would be get a bunch of stuff. Make a lit of what you need/want, and then get all of those things- makes the shipping worthwhile.

EDIT: Oh, and it does come in the Ironclad kit as well, obviously.
