Just in time for the rerelease of this awesome beast, with the coming of the new Skaven codex... the freshly repainted and reborn... VERMINE LORD!

Some details of the fur, and the back of the mini as well as a nice shot of the warpstone at the base of the warpblade.

Really love the effect I got from using the green wash over sunburst yellow... figured another picture of the blade couldn't hurt.

Note: the metal looks flat in these pictures, I think the lighting may have flattened the colours a bit as most metal is 2 tones (basecoat of brazen brass, then a brown wash, then a highlight of burnished gold).

Amazing job Carrelio, and great to finally see one of these excellent minis again. I really, really missed this guy! Have some rep and I'd even say that this guy warrants an avatar pic change ;)

I thought the blade on that second pic was one of the Necron gauss tubes, before the rest of it loaded. Awesome work. Have some REP.

Thanks guys, glad you like him so much! Really he's a fantastic old model! I can't wait to field him (even though at 500 points, he'll be a bit heavy in my 2000 point list... which only becomes 2000 points because he takes up a quarter of it)

Sounds like one of my army lists lol. That yellow washed with green as worked out really, really well, consider it stolen :)

He's been on the shelf for a very long time. I bought him the day he was discontinued (he was on sale), so that must be around 10 years ago now... he's really quite the relic. Amazing how well he was modeled considering the time period.
