okay those of you who followed the last bit of Aldaria today will probably not be surprised to hear that the aldarians commander is getting an upgrade to terminator armor. But what color should he and his crew be?

The Choices are as follows

Light Matallic Blue w/ Gold trim

Gold W/Silver Trim

Metallic Red w/ blue or gold trim

Black W/ Gold trim

catachan Green w/ Gold Trim

Metallic Red w/ blue trimmings... others would just o much like other chapters or indeed chaos..

Sounds good. Though my army knows nothing of chaos, they know only of orks, tau, and their ancient oppressors of thousands of years past.

black with gold trimmings sounds alot like the black legion

I like grey knights painted in non mettalic coulours with mettalic trim. i voted catachan green (although black would look good also).

I painted mine Astronomicon grey building up to a lighter grey with gold trim which i thought looked reallyn cool. Its nice to have something "different"

You mentioned mettalic red with gold trim, but i think mecharite red >scab red with gold trim and bleached bone fabric would look great too!

What about black with a bone coloured trim, or vice versa?

Well i just tested some of the colors on my lascannons, metallic red does not look good, Maybe I'm mixing wrong, nor does the matallic blue. I think i'm going to go Green/gold on his "bodyguards" Gold/silver on him.

How exactly are you painting mettalic red? (not, i hope mixing red with mithril silver?)

i would suggest maybe painting the red areas a mix of mithril silver and shining gold, then give a couple of heavy Baal red washes. thats "should" give a nice colour.

Oh man, it is SO hard not to say "Grey" ;)
