What are the Etched Brass Symbols used for? I have never seen anyone use them, and I was curious to know their purpose.
Here (http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/bretchsw.htm) is the link, if anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about. But then again, if someone doesn't know what I'm talking about, I fail to see how they would know how these are used. :p

They're great for adding detail to vehicles (especially Rhino doors and the like). Some people use them for terrain, notably the large aquilla.

The smaller ones are also perfectly fine to apply directly to larger open areas on infantry. Just use a large brush of pen to shape them a bit and voila chapter icons all over the place.

Yea they can be incredibly useful to put on vehicles, especially if you fail at freehand like me. :D

They are also bendable so you can use them on shoulders, legs, and around corners of tanks.

i use the brass leaves on a number of minis, very real and easily "posed" on bases etc
