I painted this today so I could use him in a battle with Aeth (See battle reports), I think its alright considering I did it in one afternoon *smiles* I may touch out the knight though as he was a little rushed...CC always welcome.

I hate him, he's too good at killing things :p

I wouldn't want to poke him with a stick. He would poke me back with his lance. That would hurt.
Great Work there Faileas!

Presenting my newest panted Bretonnian Sir Fenton the standard barer for my Pegasus Knights.
As with all my work, bits I like and bits I dont *grins*
Tried to give him a more dramatic pose.....I may change the base for something, but didn't want a wall and couldn't think of anything else....so its plain for now!
I am proud of how the purple has come out (pictures dont show it great, but its a nice blended effect)

looking good due... what symbols you going to use for his banner and suchlike?
Both looking very good, not bad for an afternoons work on the first one, not bad at all! I like the purple on the second, that and the pale grey of the birdy-horse go really well together. It's a shame I've nothing that can go purple really as I really like how you've done it. How did yo do it by the way??
Oh and have a cookie as well.

Looking good mate, very... winged horse like  What are you gonna do with the banner, transfers?

The purple is just the standard GW purple then mixed with black and brought up to a pure highlight. I'm thinking transfers (the pegasus ones) as they are white however I will have to apply them and then paint over them with black.
thanks for the comments guys

Coming along nicely :) I like the pegasus a lot :) The purple does indeed look flat in most of the photos, but the last one shows a bit of your tonal gradation. Maybe shoot in it better light ? Anyway, there's some rep waiting for you when he's done :)

Another one of my Pegasus knights, I've used the top half of a grail knight for this one, and plan him to be the unit Champion or a hero choice.
Hope you enjoy

Here is a few of the unit so far:

None of the bases are done as yet...i'm waiting till I decide what I want to do with them, so they are just bluetacked on for now.
They look really really good. Your champion model looks stunning, the feather work on the wings is impressive to. It's a shame I'll have to clip his wings in a challenge...........
But at least he'll look good while it happens

Those look great. Love the way you positioned the standard bearer. And that champ looks sweet. Love the colors you used.
