Well, I'm thinking of starting a Mordheim campaign for me and the kids. While I have a fair amount of 40k terrain in the form of foam hills, I am lacking in the ruined fantasy stuff. Now looking at the available WHFB terrain, it seems very closed, and not very readily converted. Undoubtably, I'll end up scratch building most stuff, but:
A. Are there any other ruins out there that would be appropriate?
B. How much terrain do you think is neccessary? I personally like a lot, but what about you?

i like a lot of terrain, im lucky in that i have the mordheim buildings from the box, so does my friend and between us we have blood on the streets buildings so we got lots of terrain i like lots, nice and dense makes the game better i think, though of course you can use any, the problem with the current fantasy terrain is the buildings are all complete, so unless you want to mess around making them into ruins i dont think they fit that well as you cant get in and fight from them... umm not sure what else to suggest.. sorry laz.. il hae a think though :)

Well, did a terrain inventory today. Took some pics. This is what we got. Its mainly a mess. Er. Rubble. Threw the various warbands we had lying around and took some pics.

*grins at arceus* that made me chuckle, Im liking the bridge *nod nod*

I cant wait to give mordiem a try.....hoping to start a warband in the future....(aye another idea in my ever growing list of things I want to do)...only had a quick scan through the rules but seems like a interesting game (like the idea of leveling up a custom warband)

Tons and tons of terrain I'd say. I should have some links to some site with tutorials and even some templates on my old usb stick, I'll check and report back.

I may even have a spare building set, you know the one they sold seperately. Blood on the streets of whatever it was called ;) Scratch that, here's the downloadable version - link (http://www.savefile.com/files/1810976)!

This one especially looks perfect for mordheim.

Thanks Aeth, but I think the conversion from BPS to USD (not to mention shipping) would be a killer.

Sorry about the double post, but going by Aeth's post, I did some checking. And I found these;

Building 1 (http://www.thewarstore.com/product18816.html)
Building 2 (http://www.thewarstore.com/product18817.html)

They say 28mm, which is what I am hoping is the scale, and not the size. And I have a voucher for that site. So depending on what you think, I might plunk down the voucher.

They look pretty good. I would say buy one, thin if that one is ok get the other. Obviousely p&p will be a tad more but still, if it is not the right size you have saved some money.
