Right, this list mainly uses 3 copies of the Bfsp dwarfs with a few expansions against mainly HE and WoC

For this list the warriors, longbeards and hammerers are used as an attacking force for anything that gets close, the guns are used to hammer the enemy so that when you do get in CC it will be easier for your units. I avoided adding flaming because any HE player that knows he will be facing dwarfs will take his anti-fire armour. To bring it up to 3000 look further down:

Now, this list just adds more shooting, and gives 5 more longbeards to bring them up to 20. The gyro should bu used as a march blocker allowing you to get more shots in, and the runesmith should be put with one of the cannon crews, your opponent wont expect this and it is a very potent tactic, especially since he is not acting as crew so in the case of an explosion he wont die. The master engineer should be placed with one of the other cannons and use him to target multiwound models such as dragons (he allows the cannon to do D6 attacks rather than D3) The bolt thrower with MRo Immolation should be placed out on a flank to entice your opponent to come get it when BOOM! it explodes in his face doing 2D6 srt 5 hits (+1 because of the Ro Penatrating included).

As you can see, there are hammerers but no miners. Perhaps you could ask your opponent if you could sub the miners for hammerers, they both have great weapons so it isn't that far off the mark ;)
