The orange background is great, but it is getting a bit boring. Maybe you could change the colour or update it?

i reackon it should stay, it looks fine and it will give you more work to do sorting it out if you change it

You\'d be surprised Mark, you may have read that I\'m in the process (v early days) of creating a flexible template that resizes depending on screen size.

As the current design uses images as borders, and everything else for that matter, this is proving to be a real pain.

I was thinking of switching to a design that used borders created by code and images, making the site more flexible.

I remember the days of the all white forum... this is way cooler... but there is always room for improvement in everything, even if I am happy with the template as is.

If you can throw a prospective template in here for viewing that ought to be more productive. Or if anyone else can do a prospective that would be cool.

I think the site design provides some character. It\'s a nice change from black, gray or white which seem to be the norm.

But I\'m not against a change either.

My only complaint is that it is very obvious due to it\'s current format that I\'m not doing work related things when I\'m logged on. ;)

May I suggest Boeing Blue? You could do it in honor of Boeing\'s new UK plant they\'re opening in Bristol. :)

You could just invert the colours so it\'s blue.

Hello All

I was thinking of sticking with the colour scheme, but reducing the use of images, especially in the page/navigation borders as it makes changes to the site a chore.

Also I would make the brown background a little darker, so it looks better on bright monitors, turn the brightness up on yours and see what I mean.

im seconding fenix, i really like the background we have at the moment. and looking at the astromnomican banner at the top, its become a symbol, part of the site. i vote for it to stay. the only complaint i might make is to turn the white text into a kind of off-white/light grey colour, it would make it easier to read. thats why ive now taken the descision that all my writing shall be in silver from henceforth.

(and also because i think it looks cool)

but theres no real need to worry about it right now. i think we can all manage as is, and i might just be complaining about nothing. once again, im voting for the background staying.

Has the profile settings box things changed? Because now they are grey and look a bit strange.
