I was looking around on the Games Workshop website and came across this. Excellent if you want to have a snow covered base.
Gives a more or less step by step guide on how to do it.

The link I posted was from the old GW site... so it doesn't exist anymore.
I'll have a look around the new site for the article and post it up back here. And who knows maybe if its not there I may have to make up my on snowbasing article :D

I've found an article that teaches you to make thick snow for your bases.

I'll keep searching for other ones. If you're looking for sludgy half-melted snow have a look at my Tau gallery in my profile. If you want me to write up an article on how to do that kind of snow I will willingly oblige. :D

Can the new snow base article be added to the stickied hobby articles? That'd be swell :D
Nice spot, I want to have some snow for my Dark Elves. Has anyone ever tried working with this stuff?

Never tried this stuff myself, could be interesting though
