Meltabomb Assault Marines

I have always thought that the meltabombs included in the assualt squad boxed set looked a little bulky to be attached to a marines waist and having decided to create a tankbusting meltabomb toting assault squad I went about converting me some meltabomb space marines!

This did require a few bits not in the assault squad box such as two more melta bombs and another chainsword arm.

1) Take a meltabomb and a sharp knife (watch your fingers children)[Health and Safety Notice - Loss of appendages including tentacles and other mutant growths is not the fault of the author and full responsibilty rests on your shoulders] and remove the top part of the handle leaving only the two upright bars.

2) Taking a chainsword arm WITHOUT the guard for the back of the hand as this looks stupid remove all parts of the chainsword from around the fist being careful to leace the fist intact

3) Apply a tiny dab of plastic glue to the top and bottom of the fist and then attach the meltabomb with each of the uprights either side of the fist and hey presto a meltabomb arm!

With the bits in one box it is possible to make three meltabomb toting marines or with the aid of a trusty bits box and all those spares that keep sticking into your feet as you attempt to cross the room a whole squad can be completed in no time at all!

Nice, you rarely ever see the little meltabomb you get used lol... good going looks good so far too..

Remember they arn\'t meant to be thrown so stay away from throwing poses I\'d suggest.. more slammed onto the side of something like in the DoW intro... But it\'s 40k so I\'m sure thats open to interpretation too :laugh:

Wow. Big collection!

Tip though Xander: when posting pics change the size value to 400 in the command line. Makes the images a better size.
