I wonder how long does it take for it to dry?

Really depends on your mixture, both normally I apply it roughly and let it dry for 5-ish minutes before details. After that it hards out pretty nicely in 30+ minutes, but even then you can leave marks with your fingers and sharp tools. So if you're working on something big or difficult to avoid touching better it is best to leave it for a few hours while you continue on another mini ;)

im not an expert in Green stuff nor do i use green suff that often but when i used green stuff it took like a day to dry properly i think it depends on how much of the blue stuff you mix, but dont qoute me hope this helps and welcome to astro!!

Personally, because I am usually in no hurry for finishing a project so I typically leave it over night. That way it can really cure before I move onto the next part of the project. I only suggest this if you are in no hurry and plan on doing ALOT of conversion.

Ok well here's another one: Can you file/cut the hardened green stuff and get a neat result?

Yup, that's why I let it dry for so long. That way I can file it down and not worry too much about finger prints.
