Looking good Chobo. I look forward to seeing the rest, and maybe some close pictures of that Dreadnought at the back. Man I miss painting...:(

They\'re pretty awesome. But they just remind me that I should get started on my true sons.

Kudos mate, I\'m impressed! I bulk paint too (Tyranid hordes... eesh!) but I do it to a good standard also. I\'m really impressed so far, and I\'ll tell you what, if the finito result is as good as its shaping up to be (Living up to the hype so to speak) I\'ll boost your Karma for being a good poster within your forst 4 posts!

(I painted 10 spinegaunts bang to buck to a good standard in about 5 hours... on a moving train...)

Flaming nice work in progress so far!

Dreadnought is coming along, but it isn\'t finished just yet, i\'m working on its details right now. If I cram paint, i can finish it without its guns tonight, maybe the guns, but dont count on it. I\'ll post pictures of the dreadnought tommorow. After the dreadnought, i will then place the bolters on my marines, work on 2nd squad, then the rhino.

Thanks all for looking, just watch the progress as it comes =D

sorry to double post, I just updating my project, and timestamping my time at a greater time when my new work is done. I am able to delete this message if post countage is concern, I can always combine this post with the post above this, but I just wanted seperation in thought/time.

hmm well i am done mostly for today\'s work, but my dred is not fully complete but if you are interested in following up my progress, here it is:

I repeat, this is not the final product, but all the differences really will maybe be more fix-ups on some highlighting, and much much more detail work, and ofcourse the arms. Basing will come later when I decide how I am goign to base my whole army. Thanks.

After this drednought, 2nd squad will come and my rhino needs to be assembled.

thanks for the comments guys! I\'m sorry to say that I have been actually busy for the past few days with driving classes, family business and so forth. I have not worked on anything since, and so I have a semi-free day today to pour into painting, so here i go.. and try to paint more things.

the only things i got for you is my rhino coming up:

These look great Chobo.

I never really liked the \'half and half\' colour schemes but I think you\'ve just turned me around.

Like the colours you chose (my army and yours could be brothers )

They look good so far, and just one bit of advice -- not sure if anyone else has given it already. Thin down your paints with some water. I know the camera always makes models look harsher than they are, but on your Dreadnought in particular the paint looks pretty thick.

Indra

Ah yes, I second that about the thinning of paint. Neat it\'s just slightly too much, but watered down a touch it goes on so much better. I use a mix of 2:1 or 1:1 water:paint ratio depending on the detail I want to get into. FOr basic troops its about 2:1 and for characters I spend a bit more time with a 1:1 mix.
