anialation:okay you may be wondering about the tittle. this kid was a total brat and cheater IE: had to correct him several times for stuff like every turn moving 8 inches or re rolling stff he most definetly can not. he was making alot of us down at the shop mad and i had brought my models down looking for a game so...

salamanders(me)

HQ: vulkan he'stan-190 pts

elites: dread: heavy flamer-115pts

terminator squad: asssault cannon, cyclone launcher-260pts

troops:
tactical squad x2: each searg has power sword, both have flamers and multi meltas-
total-1175pts

tau sept b'rat(the brat i nicknammed his sept due to his behavior in the store...)

HQ: tau shas'o crisis commander plasma gun, sheld

troops 3x8 squads of fire warriors all have bonding knives or whatever there called.

heavy support: 1 hammer head tank.

total- forgot but i remeber it was over the limit and fought with i and employees for 5 mintues on the way over the top thin ( i think it was like 1500 or somthing)

i got to go first

turn one marines: i remeber when i said i moved vulkan up and the kid heard his full name his exact words were "wow he sounds like a sissy!" with sincerness heh poor kid had no idea what was coming to him... anyay tactical squad with vulkan moved head long towards the tau at 12 inches thanks to the run roll the other tactical squad followed suit. the board was smallish and wide open so i postioned my dread for a shot at his precious tank(he loved this model ALOT) anyway no shooting or assault.

turn one tau: the kid was so confindent and arrogant he moved all squads up and shot and hit no one thanks to the taus crappy balistic skill. and then the tank fired, and missed and so did the shas'o. finnaly i chuckled and he says "well i bet the marines have BS one!" then i showed him the reg marine bs and the look on his face was priceless:D anyway no casualties in either of our turns.

marine turn two: vulakn and his men moved up and ripped the first warrior squad to bits with there bits with there bolters and the tip of vulakns heavy flamer. he said that was cheating when i took out the flamer template and yelled at a store employee, i showed him the codex entry and said it was legal.
the termies haf arrived behind the hammer head and blew it to bits with the cyclone launcher. the dread then got a shot at the commander and hit him, i think it shouldve inta killed him but i didnt feel like listening to a tantrum. then my other squad fired the missle launcher on the shas'o killing him. and there bolters opended up and wiped out half the 2nd fire warrior squad causing a morale check which his wusses failed. end turn

tau turn two the 3 warrior squad moved towards vulkan and fired killing two marines. the retreating squad rann off the table. thats it...he got a look on his face like he wanted to cry.

marine ruen tree: vulkan and his men charge wiping out the warriors :D

end game: i won, the kid started crying and asking his mom for better stuff and eventually was asked to leave by employees, i hate people like that:mad:

anyway short but oddley satisfying:D

Nice one, he was obviously a really bad sport and a pretty rubbish gamer.

It's good that you bagged the win.

Hahah lol priceless. In fact, you shouldn't be sad/angry that you got to play against such a brat, but rather happy that of all players' butt you can kick, kicking the butt of a preteen cheater is the best feeling of satisfaction any decent gamer can hope to get :D

Although refrain from calling Tau having "crappy BS" or "wusses", as it is not their fault that their owner is a preteen jerk. ;)

Oh and one more thing: how can your army be 1175 point total? 190+115+260+~320(assuming you had 20 marines) is not 1175!

And regarding the Tau...about 550 points. Unless he had more crisis suits or other stuff you haven't mentioned...

points- im sry but after 5 minitues of whining from the kid about points and that he was right i had enough and we just played.

tau remarks-i apologize but its sort of ironic ya know? the tau are the masters of ranged fighting yet they hit on 4 and up where as marines hit on 3 and up:)

victory- and well yeah i didnt feel bad i loved when the kid and his mom were sent out of the store hes actually not allowed back for a while.

Don't worry, just use your capital letters and full stops and all of that. :)

Makes for easier reading I might add. Presentation -espescially for big reports like this- are essential. :)

Nice report though mate! Glory over the four-digited wusses!!

How old was this kid?

Tau have a hard time against Salies for some reason... I've never won a game against them (of course... that's cause the only guy I know who plays them always drops his ironclad dreadnaught in a droppod behind my fire warriors and kills them all turn 1)

"with sincerness heh poor kid had no idea what was coming to him... "

Kudos for the win.
